Update

Well, the black 33 has been back on the road now for 23 days, and it's still going just as well (or poorly) as it ever has.

Wynn's Spitfire Throttle Body and Carby Cleaner didn't do anywhere near as much for my car as it did for Jono's 33. Ah well.

And Scotty has his red monster back on the road. Must be time for an all-Alfa cruise.

Dog

I was driving along the other night when a dog ran out in front of my Alfa! I skidded to a halt and to my surprise the dog got up and ran away! My car however is a bit of a mess. The plastic welding on my bumper has come apart in a couple of places. My headlights are all out of alignment. The plastic surround on one of my spotlights is missing. My radiator is quite damaged. The fan (on the back of the radiator) is very damaged. It even managed to put a dent in the chassis!

Please don't comment about the Dog. Dogs don't have insurance.

Damage!!

I'm sure you remember this. Well it seems that a ruptured fuel line is not the only thing that went wrong. My car has been in at my mechanics for 3 weeks tomorrow with power steering issues. Should be fixed soon though. Until then I have to drive in the Nissan. Please feel appropriately sorry for me.

Back on the road!

After nearly two years, the Alfa is legally back on the road with a fresh WOF and rego.

The gearbox is quite noisey, possibly explained by the puddle of fluid on the floor in the garage, but it certain handles well - I can really notice the difference the new rear suspension bushes make.

Getting there...

The Alfa failed on a few more things, which I have since resolved - I'll take it for a recheck tomorrow morning!
